Oumar Seck - CEO/Technical Director

Coach Oumar is from Dakar, Senegal where he lived and breathed soccer every day. In the U.S., he started his soccer experience playing for the University of Kansas Men’s Soccer Club. He then played for Johnson County Community College before transferring to play at Mid-America Nazarene for the next three years.

Oumar has over 12 years of coaching experience at the youth and college level, including 2 years of serving as Age Group Director. His prior coaching experience also includes being the Men’s Assistant Soccer Coach for JCCC and the Head Men’s Soccer Coach for Maple Woods Community College. He also serves as Alternate Commissioner for District III through KSYSA. Oumar currently holds a USSF D license, a NSCAA National Diploma, and a NSCAA Advanced National Diploma.

Through his experience with soccer, he believes in the development of players and has the passion to provide them with the best opportunities the game has to offer on and off the field in order to excel them to the next level. Through BVB International Academy – Great Plains, he hopes to continue to build soccer and fulfill his love for the game 

Joe Comparato - President/GM

 Coach Joe has been involved with youth soccer for over a decade. In that time, he has coached competitively with players of all ages. He spent 5 years on the Board of Directors for the Kaw Valley Soccer Association and is currently on the board of the Kansas Premier Soccer League.  

Joe's focus has always been on fostering a love for the game, developing players, providing access to the sport for all athletes regardless of their socioeconomic backgrounds, and maintaining a platform for student-athletes to reach their goals. Joe is also currently one of the coaches for Bishop Seabury Academy's Soccer program and holds a USSF D license.  

Luis "Ricky" Vargas

Coach Ricky is originally from Los Angeles, CA. His soccer background includes playing club soccer for KC Fusion Academy and high school soccer for Shawnee Mission West, where he was a 3-year letterman and team captain his senior year. Most recently, he played soccer for Coach Oumar at Maple Woods Community College.

Coach Ricky recently completed his USSF 4v4 and 9v9 coaching licenses and is working on obtaining his 7v7 and 11v11 coaching licenses. 

Eslam Elattar

Riny Deboer

Coach Riny has 40+ years of experience in youth sports as both referee and coach. She has also refereed adult league and college games. As a youth player, Riny played in the Netherlands for Club, Regional and State teams. 

Coach Riny has coached age groups from Pre-Academy through U19 for both boys and girls teams. She coached for Kaw Valley Soccer from 1998-2011 for Club Boys; Premier Girls; All Girls Academy; Hobbits program. She coached Perry-Lecompton High School 4A Varsity boys from 2005-2008, Puma Premier Girls teams from 2012-2013, and Kansas Rush Premier Girls and Pre-Academy boys teams from 2013-2019.

She holds a D license.

Eslam Elattar

Nationality- Cairo, Egypt
Raised in Dubai, UAE
Played for Al Shabab Club, Dubai (now known as Shabab Al Ahly club) U-17 from 2012 to 2013
Coached U9 & U12 at Sporting Kaw Valley from 2013 - 2014
Completed Level 1 Coaching license from English FA
Fun fact: I won a FIFA tournament and got to visit BVB, meet players and watch a game live!
 

Matt McCune

Coach McCune played  on TeamUSA National Team 1989, 199; Kansas and Regional ODP 1990, 1991, 1992; Ottawa University Player of the Decade 1990s; All-American 1995; and Minnesota Thunder 1998.

As a coach, he has led Vinland Valley Soccer  (Creator and Coaching/Technical Director Since 1989); KC Legends Team Coach - 2000-2002; KU Men's Club Coach - 2001-2003;; LHS Girls Coach - 2016-2019; and Baldwin High School Boys Coach - 2017-2019. He was awarded 2018 All-Area Coach of the Year and 2018 KCYA Regional Coach of the Year.

He holds a USSF B license.

Rebecca Nye

Coach Rebecca was the Jambars FC Mini Jambars Director from 2017 to 2019. She was Body Boutique Soccer Programming Coach 2015 to 2017, Sporting Kaw Valley Coach from 2006 to 2015, Sporting Kaw Valley Age Group Director from 2013 through 2015, Sporting Kaw Valley Co-Director of the All-Girls Academy for 2012-2013, and Sporting Kaw Valley Tournament Director in 2008 and 2009.

She is a Washburn University and University of Colima, Mexico soccer alumni and has a Bachelors degree with an emphasis in Sport Medicine from the University of Kansas. She has a Masters degree in Romance Languages from the University of Missouri-Kansas City.

Coach Rebecca holds an NSCAA Advanced National Diploma-Coaching "B" License, NSCAA National Diploma- Coaching "C" License, and a USSF D License.
