Kansas Youth Soccer Return-To-Play Guidelines Memo
Phase 2 Beginning May 22nd, 2020
Kansas Youth Soccer Member Club Directors & Administrators,
On May 19th, 2020 Governor Kelly has made the Executive Order to move Kansas into Phase Two (2) of the Ad Astra Plan starting Friday, May 22nd, 2020. Governor Kelly has made some adjustments to Phase Two (2) of the plan that directly impact what Kansas Youth Soccer had previously released on May 15, 2020.
Key Changes to Phase Two (2) Starting May 22nd:
Please find the updated, as of May 19th, 2020, Kansas Youth Soccer Return-To-Play (RTP) Phase Two (2) Guidelines that are attached to this email as we begin to process of returning to the fields safely and effectively.
The purpose behind the RTP Guidelines is dedicated to protecting the health and safety of all participants by providing athletes, parents, coaches and member organizations with information they can use or develop their own specific RTP programs as long as they meet these minimum requirements set forth in the RTP.
All Kansas Youth Soccer members, clubs, & associations are expected to adhere to these timelines and procedures as they are in conjunction with the State of Kansas Ad Astra Plan.
KSYSA member clubs must adhere to the updated phase 2 directives of the State of Kansas. Any training not following the state Phase Two (2) restrictions will be considered as non-sanctioned activity by Kansas Youth Soccer.
We will continue to update the KSYSA Membership as new developments in the Ad Astra Plan and the Return to Play Guidelines (RTP) as they evolve. Please find on our website a more detailed FAQ Sheet that goes through Phase 2 specifically of the Ad Astra Plan.
